Why a 301? Why not a 321? Or bigger.........

I use a K301A bor over 30 with electronic fuel pump and ignition. High compression head , high end clutc, 25# Fly wheel and some other odds n ends. I love K301 they have great torque and run hard

reason for just a 301 is going to run in stock class and really don't want to get involved with cutting the chassis to fit the 321 or 341. i think the 301 with a few mild mod will hold up well a put on a good show.

how far can you shave the head on a 301 and keep the proper clearance for the valves? also with with raising the compression should you only run 93 i have a place near me that sells 100 or 108 race fuel?

You can safely take .050 off your head. 87 octane fuel Is all you need.
