That is for a quick attach set up, (QA)
Your 70 does not have that. These are the parts you need to run either a 42 or 54" Cub blade on the 70 or 100 for that matter. In the upper right hand corner. What does the rest of your sub frame look like?

It’s very possible that the mount is for a snowblower. The previous owner has made welds.

That picture appears to be the cobbled remains of the snow thrower mount.
Part #4 in the parts picture And from what I can see of the blade, the shoe is about all, it appears to be a Haban unit. Are there 4 trip springs on it? You need the parts shown in the parts listing I posted earlier Lets see the rest of the snow blade parts that you have. Lay it all out and shoot some pictures, the whole kit & caboodle So far we are all just guessing at what you have and in this case, apparently don't have. Perhaps one could cobble the needed parts from whatever it is that you have. Is there even a sub frame for it that resembles what i pictured earlier? You will also need one of these to attach to your lift handle to raise and lower the plow.
