Pretty sweet line up! These are my brother in laws tractors, he's put a lot of time and a lot of hard work into these tractors! If you could see some before and after pics of them all you'd be really impressed! I particularly like the 982! Looks nothing like it did when he first got it! Funny story behind that one too!

Sweet Fleet! I love the red 82 tractors the most I think, possibly because they remind me of the 3688 I drove when I was a kid.

Thanks Jared!! I enjoy bringing them back to the way they were when they were new. Its hard work and can be an expensive hobby at times but ever since I was a little kid I was raised on IH tractors so it runs deep thru me. I agree with O---O the red 82's remind me of the 88 series farm tractor and that is one reason why I collect the red 82 series. When we farmed almost 30 years ago my dad had a IH 5288 that was a beast of a tractor. I remember my grandpa driving it a lot cause he loved it.

It's cool to know I'm not the only one that thinks the 82's remind me of the 88's. I started working for the farm up the road when I was 12 years old and the 3688 is what I spent most of my time in doing mostly hay cutting and baling. They also had a 5088 that did all the planting and silage chopping. I did quite a bit of the chopping but one of the bosses did all the planting. They also had all IH tractors except for a Steiger, which was a beast. It had an N14 Cummins with a straight pipe and could be heard from miles away!

Oh yeah an N14 Cummins straight piped sounds great especially matched up with a beefy steiger. My 82 series tractors definitely remind me of farming back in the day. I got my children interested in them and they each have one they call "theirs" lol. I enjoy using them especially for my tillage business for gardens/food plots. I have people tell me all the time they cant believe those tractors plow, disc or cultivate that good. They've never seen a cub cadet in action doing the stuff I have mine do. I enjoy everything about them.
