But the big deal is, for me, that it was a Company that made these for the Tractor and it is a South Dakota based Company. So this tractor was bought in a south Dakota Ih dealer, had an Ih approved attachment that was built in South Dakota, sold to a South Dakota Farmer and the tractor has never left South Dakota. Sort of why I pushed so hard for this tractor. I take better pics of it tomorrow. by the time I got done with my 1st ride joy ride it was dark.
Thanks for the response. That is great that you have that kind of pride in your state and the history of this tractor and loader. Congrats again, would love to see a video of it in action.

X4. Those are nice loaders. That top bar is for the self leveling bucket. Whatever position the bucket is in it stays in as you raise or lower it. Both of those machines look very nice. Great find.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
