you will love that compressor! I had the same one in RI and it was fairly quiet for its size. due to its size i ended up selling mine when i moved. a "freind" bought it and gave me 1/2 in cash and a check. when i got to KY i tried cashing the check and it bounced! the guy has been dodging me for over 2 years but little does he know that i'm taking a trip back home in the near future and will be making a surprize visit!

I have visions of a air hose noose in my head for some reason.

Bernmeister, That's good to hear. I read a bunch of reviews on it, and only found one bad. Most of them said it was very quiet for it's size. Good luck with your visit .

Well it's here just have to figure out how I'm going to get it from the truck to the shed through the swamp of a back yard.

Out with the old in with the new!!! Well I got it in the shop, let's just say moving one of these by yourself is a very good way to make sure your back is in good health, lol. My buddy won't be able to do the wiring till next week some time, so I guess I'll just have to look at it till then .

Yea my 60 went down, and my 33 make's way to much noise. I can't wait to get it wired. He's going to up grade the shop while he's at it, he's putting in a sub panel which will be really nice. I'll have all kinds of power out there, I won't know what to do with it all . I'm going to make a pallet for it, It didn't have the original one. There's one on the old compressor but I want to leave it on there for the next guy, right Duke .

Never been called the next guy before, it's always been much worse. Go ahead and use the pallet Eric. I'll bolt it to the floor when I get it here.

I could come up with something worse if you want, lol. That's ok it will travel much better if I leave it on there. I have the old motor still you might be able to get it rebuilt if you can find a place local to do it for you. I checked around here and it was almost as much as the motor from TSC. I called the company and checked with them for a replacement and it was going to be almost 400 bucks through them . The replacement for that compressor is a 5 hp. They have the same one at TSC for $165 it's a GE. The only resone I didn't fix it is because I came across this one and ade a trade for it so I really don't have anything into it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
