Duke, glad you like the pics. There was a great assortment of garden tractors which i really enjoyed. The rows were really long. Remember at Jim Moores, the first section that we did where he had already lightly disked the ground for us, these rows were that long.
It was awesome and i wish all of yall could have come

Looks like a great time.
On a side note, I think a lot of these plow day pictures, this one and the other plow days, should be included for consideration for Picture of the Week. Maybe more info underneath each picture of these events and we can add some of these in the Picture of the Week topics. |

A feller that was at the plow day in TN also video taped a lot of the morning plowing. Here is a link to YouTube to his page with the video(s).

David,
I like this photo: I also would like to use it for my calendar project: http://cubcadet.1.forumer.com/index.php?showtopic=312 I also like the ones with Vince and his son, the one where just his son, and just about any picture that just shows Cub Cadets only. |

T-mo, You most certainly have my permission to use any of my pics for the pic of the week and or your calender project. I am sad to say i didnt get to talk to this older feller here on the front tractor. I dont even know what model it is. The other 2 behind him are some guys i went up there with. They are Bob and Jackie Stegall (from left to right) and are father and son(respectively). They have their own machine shop and they also pull with a 582. Jackies son was also their plowing on his hopped up 482. So we had 3 generations on Cubs plowing. I snagged a few shots of them together as well. As for the tractors they are on, Bob is on a 129 and Jackie is on a 102. Both with wheel weights and loaded tires. Bob even made a wieght and mounted it to his plow and it really does help.
Let me know if you need any more info.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
