This is the fifth or sixth time this show has been held. I think at the last one there were 40 or more tractors. Mostly larger farm tractors. JD, Massy, FarmAll, Case and some Fords. There is a garden tractor class, but less of them. Vendors will be on the street with food and other items for sale. I dont have an online link, but if you want call 336-783-9505, Mt. Airy Tractor Toy Land. They help organize the show and they can give you all the info.

Well it looks ok, but I traded my 1512 show tractor for this 1772. I'm trying to get it standing just as tall as that one. I'm still dealing with the loss of that 1512. Spent a lot of time on that tractor and I wish that I had kept it and just bought the 1772 straight out. Then I would have had to build another building to keep them all in.

Looks outstanding. I would caution against wax on such fresh paint, it needs time to cure. Body shops recommend 6 months.

I haven't had any problems. 24 hrs and some hardner in the paint seems to be working good for me. Now if it was pure paint with out the hardner, it might take it 6 months to dry.

The 1772 had a lot of Tractor Supply paint and took more of the Limco paint. After scuffing the TSC paint, the Limco paint stuck great and cured the next day. This paint was mixed and put into a spray can. I plan on upgrading to a paint gun and use my air compressor. I have only painted two tractors with a gun and I used factory Cub paint. I hope to paint the rest of the 1772 this way.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
