That's very true! Some folks shouldn't be allowed to own tools! I understand people wanna work on this stuff themselves , but when you don't know how your better off leaving it to someone who know what they are doing.

I just bought a '64 Chevy truck to part-some guy had an arc welder and went to town, just trashed a short fleetside bed, welded everything together, used it to alternately cut and weld both. Truck even has a sunroof...he took some flat 10ga and welded in some patches, and welded all the factory seams. Cut the fenderwells out. I got some parts off it but most will go to China.
Some folks should not have access to tools.

one day here I was driving by a popular pizza place , I spyed out in the unlevel asphalt lot a young guy had a firebird jacked up by a small weak roller floor jack replacing the starter . from 50 ' away I could see the jack flexing and ready to tip he was wedged under the car with the wheel off . I stopped and tried to tell him how dangerous it was , with no jack stand . He was frustrated and furious ,telling me to get lost .
