Here are a few pix of the control panel to test run the engines. Just need to wire it up and add a few items. Going with a electric fuel pump with a tank from a 100 I have . Any help with wireing or someone that has done this Please feel free to chime in or if you have one drawn up. I would like to be able touse any type of GT engines on her. Also, do I need some sort of load if im voing to run the engines on it like a wetbrake , or something?

"Oh goody it has the SAM ignition, lucky you."
Years ago I had sold many Toro Wheelhorse 5XI and Simplicity Legacys with the Kohler Commands equipped with the Spark Advance Module. Shortly after I received service bulletins calling for module replacements. Many failed almost immediately. Service dept was extra busy!

No just a stand. But i want to do test runs on it.
I just wasn't sure how long you can run an engine without some sort of load on it. |

No load will not hurt it in the slightest....thats where the governor helps a tad bit. If yer that worried. Run a gm 1 wire alternator on it hooked to a few higher output light bulbs...

Put the 14 on the stand today. Had to make a plate and some spacers, I love this stand. Thanks Rescue 11.

I'm with you. Reading this thread has peaked my interest - pictures would be great. According to the write-up there were photos when it was first posted.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
