Any insight guys and girls? On converting to hydro lift for plow and mower deck?

Can't help with your hydraulic queston, but on a slightly more positve note, I dont think that the road rash is worse than the tractors 'sitting age' It looks very weathered. I tried to sound positive... They are all worth putting some work into. Worth more than spending tons of money on brand new junk.

It's worth every penny... If you are talking dual (front ports/lift) it can be pricey unless you come across a great deal. But single (deck/rear) lift is not bad at all. You'll need a different rock shaft but if your spirol pins come out easy it is a piece of cake to convert it..

Personally, for mowing, I prefer to have a manual lift. I don't much faith in the lift stop on the hydraulic lift ones. If it were my machine, I think I would stick with the manual lift and add a helper spring. The spring makes a big difference.

I would like to be able to make rows and plow my small garden and still mow grass.

Last summer I bought a complete 1211 with hydraulic lift and a blown Kohler for $140. It's been the perfect parts source for my 882D.

You could easily spend $140 on ebay for just a couple of parts.

After rewiring the burnt wiring in my harness. I had her running with help of starting fluid. It will move forward and back. I also got the brakes back working they were frozen up. Thanks guy for your help and if any of you have some parts or know someone that has some that will work on my tractor, please contact me!!!!

Contact our site sponsers or place an ad in the wanted section of the site. You'll have better results doing those two things.

Well I got my cub running and mowing. i mow about a 4 foot area until the old belt broke. It has been sitting for years!!
