Can you use another flange on the inside or outside, trying to remember where the two go (think its the outside) instead of using washers? Cut the inside of the flange so it doesn't rest against the bearing or the other flange - just make it into a large washer with 3 square holes in it. That way you don't have to weld anything and it should keep it all flat. Just a thought. But I would have to go look at mine to make sure what I just said will work. Just throwing it out there.

Can you just drill 3 new holes between the ones that are torn out?
Unless there are additional items that attach and have to be in a certain clocked position. If it were mine, I would weld them up with the Act/oxy welding torch with a #1 tip and problem solved. ---but not everyone has a gas rig. I also like the idea of a backup ring from the bearing flangette, making it stronger than origionally.
