Let me know if you still need the measurements I've got a set in the garage I could measure for you.

Thanks for all the comments guys.

Duke,
I'll grab the serial number when I head outside later. Boy, I know where there's a Johnson loader I could throw on it, but the 129 wouldn't be happy,. Gotta pinpoint where the oil leak is. Looks to be the rear seal. Oil has blown all over the heads. PO took the engine sheet metal off the find the leak, then left it sit.

DX3,
I'll grab the hubcap measurements for ya when I grab the serial number.

Mountain Heritage,
Come on down and we can swap hubcaps. Don't forget to leave your 782 behind, though. All kiddin' aside, they do have a few small dings, especially the fronts. Really no pitting.

Mikepc,
The red cubs are addicting also. This is my second one, and probably my last because the BOSS per her foot down .

The guy I got it from owned it for a year. He quit using it because of the oil leak. He also owned land with steep ditches and specifically told me he didn't mow the ditch because of the oil supply to the engine. I thought that was interesting since he didn't collect cubs and thought this was a 1974. He bought it from his brother and I didn't ask any further history. Whoever owned before these guys sure took care of it.

C'mon Duke,
Look at my avatar. It's already in the shed on my 129! I just don't think the 129 would let me take it off of it. Gotta set of newer shoes, AKA ags, ready to go on the 129 and its been all over the shop floor. Hate to say it, but I don't want to beat up this 782 either. Guess I could look for another one???

Also grabbed the serial number 675585. I figured it was an earlier one because of the front grill in it.

DX3, I measured the rear hubcap and on the inside it runs 10 inches. This is from one mounting tab across to the other one. They run 90 degrees apart and have a clip on each to hold it on. Hope this helps.

Yes that helps a lot. Now I know some hubcaps I found will work.

[QUOTE=Methos;71689]I thought you found another FEL.

Shoot Duke, I wish I could find another loader. If one's good, two's better right? FEL's rule.

I actually do know where there's a KwikWay. Bad thing is it's in North Carolina mounted on a 100. The PO or could be PO has it mounted on a 100, and it's not even his tractor! Guess I could load up the trailer and go get the loader at least. I heard all I had to do was show up and take it off the 100 and it was mine?
You don't by any chance know this loader do you?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
