Naw it was too hot after I mowed with it. I wish I had looked before that.

I may be violating a rule somewhere talking about it, but my neighbor just bought a green unit with that same motor, and it's suffering from the broken cam gear issue. Its has ~650 hours on it. We're using it for parts for a diesel unit...

And it's the fuel injected version... which the FI control module will always eventually go out, with a price of $1150 from the dealer.

But if you change out the cam for the steel version before it fails, they seem to be pretty reliable from what others have seen on the green units. It wouldn't scare me away from a nice super at a $1000 price point...
