The haban mower could be ran off a rear pto if the owner wants to. The only problem using the rear factory pto is the pto isn't live set up. The clutch in the driveline has to be engage for the rear pto to work. Using the front pto gives the operator a seperate pto so the operator doesn't can keep the cub moving while shutting off the mower.

A draw back to rear pto clutch is the cub will not stop as quick when using an attachment like a mower. The momentum from the mower will keep the cub moving. I grew up on tractors that didn't have a "live clutch".....clutch seperate from main drive line clutch. They can be a handfull if you are not uded to them.
