Your a dog, you seem to find them cylops a lot up there. Dose that have a vanguard in it?

I went past Daves place, couldnt stop. Seeing him dressed as Marshal Matt Dillon, and holding a Red Ryder BB gun at the end of his driveway, just made me laugh so hard. I flipped to the high side of the tranny, grabbed another gear and went for broke down the road!!!!

After I saw Vince pass by and grab that next gear, I knew he was in for a long night since the overpass down the street from me just got lowered. Here are some pics from when a Crazy highspeeding yankee has a little too much fluid from a mason jar!

That durn Vince shut our whole county down when he pulled a stunt like that. Im just east of Charlotte NC.

The driver of a semi-tractor trailer that was hauling a track hoe excavator on a flatbed misestimated the clearance at an overpass, and the boom of the hoe collided with the overpass and knocked a 45-foot gap through the deck of the bridge. The accident forced an 11-day closure of the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70. (The bridge itself remained closed even after the highway reopened.)

The driver of the rig was uninjured, although he was later cited for not having clearance to drive on the interstate. The Kansas Department of Transportation said the construction company for which the driver worked would be liable for the cost of repairs to the overpass, which were estimated at $134,000 as of late March 2006.

When the air filter gets clogged on the Vanguards, the breather blows a bunch of oil into the intake. Replace the air filter, and it will stop doing that.

Enjoy that 1641. Judging by the ugly "Cub Cadet by MTD" decals it is one of the last few thousand built. The end of the line!

I remember that pic about 7 yrs or so ago. First off If Im going to haul a long reach, Ill spin the house around so I get the boom down! Second of all Ive only ever hit one bridge, AND I WASNT DRIVING! We were hauling a water truck on a 773c frame and we told the state we were like 15 9, really we were around 15 4. We came up on the bridge here in the next town, and Ralph turned to me and said we aint going to make this one. I jumped on the CB told the escort, we only were requried to have a rear escort, and he quickly blocked off trafic! Ralph dumped the suspension, it wasnt fast enough and we hit the bridge at about 20 mph. What an eerie feeling! All that we did was bend the hand rail on the top of the water tanker.

But I have been involved in some crazy stuff.

As a fellow coal miner, I can relate to Vince. I like to joke around also, as most miners do, but this day was somber in my still very young career.

Hey there Maddog, this is why I never went under ground. On another note, Windrige is where I hunt. I was thinking 2 years ago to moving back up there and hauling refractor water. Seems like where there used to be a coal truck in everyones drive way, now has been replaced by a tanker truck.

Next time Im up there Ill have to look you up. Wont be this year, Im hunting down here this year.
