My 1572 had overheated a couple of times. The first was the fan belt for the fan actually snapped at the joint where it was bonded. The dealer gave me a new one under warranty. The other time it got really hot was when the thermostat got stuck. Replaced that and it's been fairly reliable with respect to this.

Mine was running hot due to no insulation on the top hose and the radiator fins were clogged with dirt which was really hard to see without looking closely with a flashlight. After fixing both issues it was fine as long as the screen is kept free of debri.

i wrapped my top hose with soe insulation and its actually running a little cooler. thanks fellas stay tuned

i need to work it hard to find out if its gonna run warm again...next week the decks comming off for the year and tillage season begins. the 1872 will have to take up the mowing slack.
