It is bad when you find a set of tires that will hook to the ground and you won a few pulls and now you here that you have changed out your motor and you must not be legal, to be able to pull that good, well bring on the protest money and let them be embarrased when they pull off the head and carb, then find, out that you are one of the three that are legal, bring it on, I could use a extra $75. Please do, well I was not going to go back to that track this year due to other things coming up with work, well I will be there for the last two pulls of the year, let's see if I can repeat these pulls. I don't care what they say, if you get these cubs set up right and with a 10 hp motor, you can pull with the best of them. I am not mad, just do not belive that they would even think that.

Donny rake in the protest money! They will get tired of spending the money or you'll have some spare cash at the end of the night. I used to race RC cars and had a buddy that used to get torn down afer every heat race! He always wanted to find a place were he could race every day so he could quit his job and live off the protest money.

I can relate also. I never got torn down, just had the rules changed so our engine was outlawed. It happened at the annual rules meeting that I couldn't attend, because I was needed at work. Them poor old men couldn't handle getting beat by a teen age girl. I've about decided it's at every club. Just how much BS do we want to put up with to enjoy our sport.

I'm with you. If (they) can't figure it out, then (in their minds) some thing has to be wrong with it. We were within the rules on ours also. They don't want to take the time to watch what you do for prep, watch how drive it, etc. It's easier to protest. I agree with Duke, take the protest money from them, give 'em a wink and grin, then head out for supper.

Sweet looking tractors. What's the theory behind the teeny tires on the front? Is that to get the front end down lower?

I have 3.50 - 6 inch tires on the front, it helps me to keep the front end down, I run 50 lbs. in the front weight box, total weight of tractor with me on it can only be 1050 lbs., when the front comes up it only comes up about 3 inches and just rides there, I have my tractor better well balanced. The front end will stay in the air about 25 - 40 ft, before the back tires finally spin out, but hopeful 10 - 20 ft feet pass everyone esle. It does not matter what is all under the hood, if you can not get tires to hook and to have you tractor balance, you want your tractor, close to the end of your pull in a stock class to come up about 2 - 3 inches and keep turning the back tires, You would be suprise to see what these little 10 hp power engines will do. I am suprised everytime we have a pull. It really suprise me that the rearend stays together a well as it does, I have only broke twice in 8 years with this tractor.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
