Longest I have drove is 1hr 45min to TEETS house to pick up my new 682. Everything I have owned I have acquired locally.

Bought my first cub in Iowa, to use in Texas.. But I cheat a little, I regularly drive 1200 miles a week for work.

Quietlines and narrow frames, mostly projects but I mow with a 1200 and have a 122 set up for pulls. Wandering the country bringing towers to wind farms everywhere, and bringing yellow stuff home to Texas. Also into flatfender jeeps.

A couple weeks ago I made a 700 mile round trip (roughly 350 miles each way) to pickup a 1A tiller...since the first of the year I would guess that I have put close to 2000 miles on my truck chasing tractors and implements!

But this is still overall a cheap hobby, especially when you think what a trip to New York city would cost to get "Guido" to smash your hands to look like "the cops did this to you"!!

At least I can say when I made my trips to NY I was able to swing by Niagara each time... This past May ended up being a mini-vacation, took my wife and boys and took in all the sights. Nothing like having all the locals see a truck with WV tags and a cub 73 in the back! Oh, and all the kids toys my wife found at yard sales! So I guess I could start a thread "what's the farthest you've ever went for a yard sale"!
