Well, I just looked up Ken Updike's books on ebay and amazon. I think I'll try the library. Man, those places really like Cub Cadet books. LOL Or, maybe I'm a cheapskate. Or both. Just kidding, I really want to find one of those books, just have to get over the sticker shock.

uh.... I have no clue as to why amazon has that book listed at $100.00....... wow I got mine for $20, new. I don't know if Binder Books, sponsor at the top, would carry it or not.

I've heard that any tractor with 5 lug rear wheels is considered a garden tractor. is this true?

it used to be considered that tractors with wheel hubs were generally considered such and lawn tractors had a keyed slot type rear wheel. All of the newer Cub GTs have 4 lugs instead of 5.... guess that .25 per wheel saves money in the long run.

I have saw some older craftsman LTs with GT type wheels along with some other brands.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
