qt fuel tank...

Thanks for the comments! As far as the fuel tank modification the reason I'm doing it is because I have a LOT of yard to mow. To put this in perspective it takes the diesel 2.5 gallons of diesel to do the whole yard and the diesel is pretty conservative on fuel. Plus I won't have to worry about being low on fuel or carry fuel with me to plow days. And I already have another tank at the farm that is the same size. So once I am finished with it it will have 3.25 gallons of fuel capacity. Anywho today I got the battery cable run and fixed float on the carb. Later this afternoon I will start on fixing the wiring. I am going to napa later today to get the coil, spark plug, plug wire and ground cable for the battery. Once I get those things on it should be ready to start. So hopefully i can get it running today!

Been doing some more work and I found that where the drive shaft connects to the engine there is a nail there instead of the pin. My question is, is it a roll pin or what kind of pin is it and where can I buy one?

Yeah I don't understand why the need for so much fuel either. I'd much rather have the batt. under the hood, but that's just my opinion.

Well I finally came to the conclusion that the wiring mess is unfixable so I'll have to go to the farm sometime and take the wiring system off the parts 147. Heres some pics

You'll want to have a look at that coupler, it's probably pretty mangled up having that nail in there. I've bought roll pins at Lowes Depot, TSC and ACE Hardware.

Ok so I've haven't done much because of the heat but like I said earlier the wiring harness is beyond repair. So my question is Can I buy a new wiring harness and if so where?
