Sure.. it's what I'm doing with mine. I incrementally fix it when I'm motivated or if something falls off or stops working ...
I've fixed basic things (like a transmission that is missing teeth on gears) , gotten it reliable , stopped it deteriorating further. I fix things as I get parts and energy and when it's fun to work on it. And I use it... aerating, sweeping, hauling carts,etc. That makes it more fun, and also is probably good for the tractor to keep it running. John Quote:

Todd,
Found you!Tthanks for letting me in on the little secret. I think this will make a great working tractor. I love those round fenders and they will look real nice when you get them mounted. They look to be in nice shape too. I will watch to see how far you go on this one. It is sometimes hard to stop because you know you can fix it or make it look better. ( I am having that problem on the Allis  )Great that you don't have to travel far either. Keep the pictures coming as you get it headed for home. Like a lost pup it has found a good place to live!
