thanks to you sam and everyone else, my wife and I are good and ready for the storm, just hoping our little girl doens't decide it's a good time to arrive then! she's not due til thanksgiving day, but really, it's anyone's guess! On top of that, Monday is my birthday, it's my first hurricane birthday! anyways, we're ready and wish the best to anyone in the projected path. Cory, when Irene hit last year, it knocked out power on the street of the house we were purchasing for 2 weeks, and it's a main road! it pushed back our move-in date by 2 months! we moved in on October 26th, just before the october snowstorm on the 29th. 2 epic weather birthdays in a row! my brother will be jealous (he's a meteorologist)

We here in Central PA are dead center bullseye for the eye of Sandy. If she comes too close I am going to poke her eye out. It has been raining on and off now since yesterday morning and the wind is starting to pick up some. I do not have an attachment for moving water with any of my cubs so we are just battening down the hatches and holding on. Predictions are for wind gusts up to 60 mph and several inches of rain through tomorrow.

Gary

You may have to get the Bota out for this one. Hung the plow on my BX and it's parked in the garage. Didn't plug the hydraulic hose's in yet but that only take a couple seconds if I do need it. Also didn’t bother with the chains. Hope that doesn’t bite me in the butt.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
