I felt sure you were going to say the pipe was a friction fit and a little twist would remove it. If you can't actually open the hood how do you check oil level or clean the air filter, something that I have to do quite often.

It is a friction fit but to get to the bolts, I leave the stack up on the pipe alittle bit so I can lift up the hide enough to take the bolts out of the side panels take them off then get to the bolts. Sounds like a lot of work but putting it back together is the hard part.

Yeah it fits real nice. Used a hole saw to cut the hole, then used steel pipe fittings and pipe to run it thro the hood.
