Crazy weather! Like others have said, seems to be almost commonplace now.
be careful for what you wish for...it's COLD here today (almost to the point where I might quit smoking...I don't smoke in my own house).

I woke up to 4" of snow this morning. It's still snowing but, I'm going out to play with the 123 anyway. I ordered some chains for my 147 but there not in yet. That thing won't move without chains.

Nice! I woke up and it was snowing, not much on the ground here yet, but it's supposed to go all day. Are you in Western Mass, muzzy? I grew up in Deerfield (my dad is still there). Hoping I can get at least 4 inches at the end of this, want to test out the snow thrower that I just repainted the chute on.

LOL. I don't mind when YOU get it. Just when I do.

Trouble is we usually get it right after you.

Woke up to about 3" of heavy wet snow. I was out on 149#1 with the blade at about 5:30 am. I really wanted to try out the rebuilt PTO and QA42A on 149#2 but I had to get on the road for work by 6:30. Maybe next time...

Hi Martyrant, We were neighbors. I grew up in greenfield and worked for Williams farm in old Deerfield all while I was growing up. I live in Gill now. Actually, Gill used to pe part of Deerfield in the colonial days.

Nice! My best friend to this day and growing up is from Greenfield. My brother went to Bement in Old Deerfield. I do love that area quite a bit; grew up working on the tobacco farms in Hadley (my grandfather used to be a foreman on one of them, they usually don't hire kids anymore unless you're a family member/friend). I come back every other month or so; last time I was there for Christmas I was able to score some cheapo plastic wheel weights for my 1250.

Yeah, It's a great area to grow up/live. My brother and sisters worked tabacco in hatfield. Now, it's all summer migrant workers. It's too bad, there is'nt much work for kids around here in the summers anymore. It kept me out of trouble.

Kept you out of trouble and out of your parent's wallets for the year! Stuff was hard work, too, I remember being 13-14 and passing out 8pm at night most times during the summer, but I always had money to bring girls to the movies during the school year without asking my dad for money.

We are supposed to get 3-5" here in south western VA. Can't wait. Plus I'll get a day off from teaching HS. Even better. Snow with all the time in the day to play in it! Unfortunately, the weatherman hasn't been too accurate lately (within the last 5 years). Always promissing snow but never delivers! The tease!

Just now I glanced at my new front tires on the 125. One is Flat!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
