This sounds like a good way to go. I'll check with the local fabric store and see what they have. I was wondering how snaps would work instead of sewing the window completely in.

If you have trouble seeing and you are on the road perhaps you should consider just removing them - at least for now. Also, my back window is plexiglass.
I've been thinking about removing my doors and back window - leaving the front glass and roof because my doors don't like to stay shut. My thinking is that should keep the majority of the blowing snow off me and I could leave it on all year. I'm concerned with the heat of summer though. If it's on all year it would be worth customizing (fan, cup holder, etc.) .

I'm hoping you were adding a bit of humor to this? I have replaced the Plexiglas and this is working fine so that is what made me think that if I could have new windows on the side would be great as well. I didn't notice where you're from but up here with the -0 temperatures. I want all of the protection I can get. Hmm.........customizing (fan, cup holder, etc.) now you have me thinking!

I had mine replaced at an awning shop , look great cost me 48.00 ea.
