I figured that for $30.00 for the 3 gauge set even not using the water temp it was still a cheap deal considering that I paid about $30.00 per gauge for the ones I used on the 2182. Any of you want a free water temp gauge?

Guess you could use an oil temp gauge....
My question exactly. Is there a way to hook up an oil temp gauge or even oil pressure gauge on K321 or similar?

Oil temp can be done with a probe set up , possibly on the dip stick. But come on an idiot ( floyd) light for fuel i know you can do better , I hope you at least used a nice bright red( my case gray) unlike all those gray cubs call red! Lol have fun

It would really be cool to set up a mechanical tach on a kohler but that'd be tricky my dream is to have an IH factory tach on my 122, (the big one with all the different colors)

I don't think a probe in the dipstick hole is a good idea. (faptd mentioned that in another thread) You would want it in the bottom of the oil pan. Probably drill and tap the crankcase so it would always have oil on it. I'm not sure how practical it would be......

That idea may not be far off. There were some older generators with a mechanical tach drive on them. If you could find one, you may be able to mount it to the SG. This is an off the cuff idea, but worth looking into.

If you guys want to "think out loud" some more, start a new thread. Lets stop "hi-jacking" Sam's! LOL. SORRY SAM!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
