What are the rules for the class you pull in? Without knowing the rules it's hard for us to help you.

Cheapeast easiest way to gear it down is put a shorter tire on it.... and don't use a creeper for two reason. One being itd be a major weak point as they were designed to just slow it down. Two being it makes your third gear slower then your current first gear.

I have never seen one with smaller back tires I would need other rims and alot of people use creepers for pulling in our club and u have to have a garden tractor so I'm assuming u can't have too much horse power but alot of them are 10 12hp one is 14 and one is a 1606 cub cadet but I don't know what engine I think I will just get a fine spline carrier and axels but do I need to measure the teeth on it to install it

Just remember if you get a 2 piece fine spline carrier you have to change ring gears. The one in a 2 piece is straight cut and the one in your cub now is curved cut.

Use the ring gear off the carrier that broke if its still good.If not you need to find one like the one that came out of the carrier that broke.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
