I miss my Cub Cadet 1450

I had a 1450 and decided to sell her a good friend a few months back. Now I find myself looking on Craigslist far too much and what I have a taste for is a 147 or maybe one of the newer tractors in particular there is a 1810 with 400 hrs on it that keeps showing up.

I currently have a Deutz Allis 916 that Im mowing with, a 4018 Ingersoll full dresser that's going nowhere but, is not earning its keep due to electrical issues and a Simplicity Sunstar that pushes snow like a dealer on 8 Mile rd in Detroit.

I miss my Cub Cadet, I don't know if its the colors or maybe they just were right on with the engineering but, there is something about them that justifies one sitting in my garage right now! My 1450 was one of my favorite tractors looking back, it was built tough, always started and did everything as designed with no BS.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
