I think I'd add some gussets to those corners.
Looks like a great project so far.

Think I have the handles covered, will post a pic when I get them, hopefully tomorrow, very simple and chrome, it needs a little shine. Using ACM material (name brand alupanel or diebond, 3mm thick solid core plastic with pre-finished white aluminum layer on each side, I get drops free) for the bottom half so hope I don't need the gussets. So for this year it will be white maybe paint it next year? not sure, for the boot I'm using black sunbrella, canvas type awning fabric, something else I acquired without laying out $$.

That looks stronger than most of the roll cages at the local stock car track ! You probably don't need wheel weights with all that steel up there . First class fab job .

The Guy I got the Haban 42 blower from had wheel weights and a tub hanging off the back, Haban was so heavy only way he could get traction, so thinking I won't need the hanging weight just my nice warm cab and the wheel weights. That is 14 gauge tube, not 1/8" wall, so really not too heavy, yet...
Thanks,

OK, finally getting somewhere, still need lights and a grommet for the pass-thru of the blower direction handle but plex in, boot done, handles set, and lastly but not least custom IH decals! Feels good, now need to get additional helper spring bracket welded on blower (darn manual lift, dreaming of hydraulics some day) grease, check chain and all moving parts on the blower and then "Bring on the snow!" It's been fun but glad I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Oh ya, install wheel weights, have them, and tire chains, need to buy yet. Try to get some daylight pics this weekend.
Take care, Vic

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
