Leaves were one of the first things I pushed with my 147 and blade.

The 147 is a nice tractor. It will probably wind up being one of your favorites.

When I saw that pic of the leaves lined up on the driveway I was thinking next you were going to get out the lighter fluid and a match.

You have a good looking 147 and I like your nice concrete driveway too!

To many trees around me to just light them up. My driveway is the only reason I still live in this house.

Waiting for some snow to really work this 147.

I thought I was the only one that used my blade to push leaves. I made frame that bolts to my blade to add wings out the side. Sure made short work of the leaves this year.

Leaf pushing is fun especially when pushing them into a fire.

I need to get the blade on the 782, so I can push some leaves. There's plenty to push around...lol!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
