Perhaps you could run an ad and trade if you are interested in setting that up. People in Indiana like to trade and you can kick in a few bucks if needed to sweeten the pot!!!

I got it, thanks! My original plans were to chain each wheel using the two inch spacer. However I never tried, and cant see why that would not work. You would be talking ultimate traction. But, as far as pulling a bottom plow I have no experience,...yet. Though I have seen picture of guys at a plow day using a duel wheel on the left. Never noticed if that outside wheel was off the ground or not.

Duals look so cool!
![]() Unfortunately, unless you have made attachments, there aren't many that you can use duals with. I haven't got this one finished yet, but it will be wide enough for duals..... IMG_20130511_102950.jpg |

Id like to get a 3 point tandem disc but that still doesnt help me cause i will pull it with my 982. Your right Macman81 i will need to make my disc i have now wider along with my field cultivator for the 782 with duals. Im gonna try the dual wheel for moldboard plowing since i plow a lot of gardens in spring & fall. I will post a pic of it.

I use a dual on my 122 all the time while plowing, most of the time its a like weight hanging out there. This is a standard rear wheel with the center part cut out, using threaded rod to hold it to the inner wheel, and like macman81 I have the plastic spacers. The one pic below shows the outer wheel not even touching the ground.

Why is it that the pic of you driving the 122 with the wheel off the ground, has the dual tire on it off the 70? Looks kinda fake.....

The Dual off the ground is a 6x12 Ag tire(I think Montgomery Wards Ag), the inner is a 8.50-12x23 Firestone Ag. The 6x12 diameter is smaller, that pic just shows what a dual typically does while plowing. At a different plow day it was mounted on the 70. On average my 8.5" Firestone Ag Dual hangs out there barely touching the ground, but its a 30 pound weight.
Here's a pic of a friends cub showing the dual barely touching the ground. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
