That one looks pretty nice.

For real work, I personally like the Wide Frames better than the Narrow Frames. They seem more comfortable to operate (not that I don't like my Narrow Frames).

If you are ok with the price (I think it's a little high) buy it, then sell off the one of your other ones that you like lest.

One really great thing about the 129 is that you can add a hydraulic lift and make it look factory. Hydraulic lift is a fantastic addition especially if you put a blade, blower or tiller on it.

Good luck with your decision.

That's real nice John. I think $850 may be a little steep but of course it is well worth it when it's compared to Cheepo and Slowes garbage. I just sold my 127 that I refurbed without deck or mule for $650.00, only because it had a bum tire and needed a battery, was trying to get $700 but came down because of that. You're right that these things are disappearing but for some reason I'm finding more and more lately but that won't last after some years. I wasn't wanting to sell my 127 but a guy at a show wanted it so I let it go to a good home, didnt make a lot of money on it but didn't want to, was a nice guy. As usual, keep us posted.

That's a nice looking tractor, but I don't know that I'd pay that price - but that's me and my tight wallet talking. The tractor would be more in tune for that price if it had a newer 44a or 50c deck and the wider front tires. It would be nice for the price if it had a 3 point hitch at the rear or perhaps a front blade along for the price.

Good luck,
Bill

First I have found it's not a need thing its a want thing.
Yea sometimes I can resist. But have added two in the last couple months. So resistance must be low right now Both have been running tractors and both for about half what this guy is asking. The other thing is that if he buys and sells he should know it doesn't have a rear PTO. Sounds like someone making a quick buck. I think the tractor is very nice and if it runs and drives good then maybe $500 ish. But if you want it buy it! They just don't come along all the time.
Regards,
Chris

Nice 129, the price does seem a little high.

Looks like 350 cub. Way over priced for a dime a dozen 129.

I have been on this pattern:

Convince yourself you will get the new one, as an upgrade/replacement for one of the other ones that you will sell.

Then once you get the new one, never get around to selling the existing one.

After a while you look out and there is a herd.

(Im not saying this is an INTENDED pattern, just an observation....)

My thoughts exactly. It's nice but not $850 nice. I've bought just as nice of Cubs for a LOT less. Just my .02

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
