Nice looking Db! I had a 1951 a few years back, and I really regret selling it now. It had the original B & S engine that I rebuilt using NOS parts...man it ran like a top and could really drag you around. I had a front blade, southern cultivator, roller sulky, and a one bottom plow for it. I rebuilt the clutch as well....really simple to work on. There are some really good DB forums out there with a wealth of info available. Good luck with it. If I can find some pics of mine, I'll post them later..
Jeff (teet) EDIT: I added a pic of a Waterbury walk behind that I have with a Simplicity roller...still searching for a pic of my old DB...

I pass two DB tractors that are for sale on the way to work. One has a sickle bar and the other has a set of cultivators. I stopped on the way home one night to have a quick look, but there was no price or contact information on the for sale sign. I really don't need them, so I just kept driving.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
