About 2 miles later, I see that SUV nose-first into the concrete median barrier. When I go past it, that car is a brand new Lexus, still with the 30-day paper temporary tag.

Folks do not realize that 4-wheel drive does NOT equal 4-wheel stop.
Yep, most of the issues are people that have no clue how to drive. I used to teach high performance driving. It's appalling how bad most people are at car control. I lived most of my life in New England and moving to VA has been shall we say entertaining when it comes to seeing what happens with 1" of snow. I just stay home because the locals are just a crash looking for a place to happen. If they can fog a mirror they get a license.

That 3 inches will be gone this weekend. Saw the news last night. it is supposed to get up to 60*'s in GA. There are a bunch of idiots here in NE Indiana, when it comes to driving on snow/ice. Most of then could not drive a nail without bending it.

This is why I literaly stay off of I-90 in this type of weather. I will take twice as long and risk unplowed side streets before I let some bonehead push me into a semi.

Same here on Long Island. for some reason nobody believes in Snow tires anymore. Maybe it's because most car dealers do not have cheap Steelie Rims for snows. who wants to lay out $400 a rim just for snow tires? I take the back roads to work and actually feel I get a better grip on unplowed roads over the Slick, packed Snowplowed road. I do have separate rims and snow tires. It absolutely makes a world of difference. an any car Rear wheel drive fronrt wheel drive or 4Wd.. snow tires help. Black ice.. nope all bets are off. Ice is ice

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
