Didn't get any action shots SaturnV. I'd love to find a snow blower even though we don't really get enough snow to warrant owning but it'd sure be fun when we do get enough to use it .
Bolivier I've had my 122 set up with the plow since the first chance of snow we've had lol. Nice to see the Okies on here!! |

When you tell somebody something, it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in...as to just how dumb you are.

Our lovely state has gotten so much of the white stuff this winter (like snow every 5-7 days, and usually 3-4" every time) that I've probably got more winter hours on the 147 than I do mowing hours the rest of last year.

I'm in my part of the United States, and that's all that matters right now.

My 149 has gotten more snow removal time this year in 2 weeks that it did all of last winter. Here in Ft. Wayne, IN., we broke the snowfall record for the month of Jan. 30 inches. This past Sat. we had an 1 inch of rain you talk about mess. Someone posted about Polaris skid shoes for the blade, I went and purchased a pair and installed them,as the ones on my blade were flat wore out, we'll see how they work out, as we are suppose to get another big snow storm this coming Wed.

I really feel for you guys up North, this has been a bad winter. I do enjoy the pics & videos of the cubs working though.
I know by the end of summer here, I get pretty sick of mowing at least once a week if not twice so I can understand having to go out in the cold to move snow several times a week, my hat's off to you guys!! |

I had to look further north to find blowers. Ended up in Des Moines. Made a weekend of it. I heard you guys are getting a fair amount down there now. Is that true? KC has 8 to 10 coming they say. There will be pics. :-)

But, winter on the other hand, it seems your always in a hurry because it's so damn cold and the snow is wet. And it (winter) drags on forever. When I was much younger winter didn't bother me, it was just one of those four seasons we had here in WI. We would bust our butts to get everything ready for the upcoming winter. From spring through fall everything that happened was to prepare ourselves for winter. The first snow fall was a sight to behold. Now the first snow is the sign of what's to come. MORE SNOW! Guess maybe I'm just into the fall season of my life, and maybe don't want to look forward to the winter part of it, and all that comes with it. Don't know!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
