Yep, probably the best race of his life. I would love nothing more than to see him be this years champ. I was a fan of Sr. along with John Force and Schumacher. Not sure Jr. has the talent but I hope he can pull it off. I guess it's good to want.

I have always been a believer that in racing you have to be hungry to win. I haven't seen that hunger in Jr pretty much since his dad died. Maybe he is tired of seeing the rear of all those cars ahead of him and has that hunger to be up front.

I think that the way the championship is formatted this year drivers/teams don't have to be conservative to make it. They can go for broke cuz 1 win pretty much guarantees a spot in the "chase." This year's 500 was pretty great; but I think the 2001 Pepsi 400 was a harder fought race IMO.

Okay I watched once for each man. Two jack men, one spare jack man for the back of car. One man for each lug nut (4). One man for each tire again four. One man to carry the old tire away again 4. One man for the left front spoiler and one for the right front spoiler adjustment. Also one man with I think a starter in case the car stalls. Add a few more guys doing I don't know what. Crazy how much F-1 spends.
I'm sure some of the Nascar owners would do the same if they could.
