I do enjoy the doughnut tire(s). Let the kid derby a tractor that isn't as valuable like a crapsman and not a cub.

Don't worry Nick, I'm selling some, and some are just for parts. I only have like 2 that run right now. 4 that need motors, and the rest are going down the road, or being parted.

Yep, they're speakers. Can't find a radio on it though. Hood won't shut on the cyclops because of the speakers. Hood won't shut on the quietline because it's resting on the muffler on the Tecumseh!

I know right? These were clearly parts machines. But I really needed parts off the 1864. Price was right, but I will admit, I had to do a lot of screwing around to get them. Been trying to work a deal with these guys for about a year.

I see parts, some plate steel, some real interesting mods...
Thinking you should send Sam Mac those speakers for his Cyclops, all he would need to do is find a place for the radio. just hack'in on yah Sam

Oh, I wish I had his address!!! I might even send him the muffler! He had trouble deciding what to put on the first "ugly duckling" he built.

I see the similarities.....

But my ugly duck turned out better and I started with just a pile of odd parts.

the speakers under the hood reminds me of............
A redneck fake GMC blower set up.
On a car, involving speakers under the hood, an AM radio and hooking it up so that you got a blower whine as if you had a 6-71 GMC blower under the hood.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
