My wife was always ready for a mini weekend get away when I found something I couldn't live without. She would peruse the internet for interesting things to see on the way there or back. We really had some fun times. checked out allot of cool places. BONUS: I got my cub parts too!

Musta been that 1512 you poached from Wisconsin awhile back. Don't have a workin' drone right now, but I'm training my hunting dog to sniff out smokers. Does that count?

My 147 was about an hour away. I got some parts at Red Power Round Up that was 2 1/2 hrs away, but that doesn't really count because I was there for the show and not just parts.

I drove to Portland OR from Montana almost 1000 miles one way. Given I was going on vacation and happened to see the 149 on CL and just had to have it. It was a fun ride back because he gave me a parts 125 aswell. I fit it all in the back of my shortbox pickup.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
