Grass is green here...and growing..but not fast enough. Still waiting on a hydrostat filter before installing the mower. No point in putting it on and then taking it off again.

That's about how I feel. High of 47* today.
![]() Haven't mowed yet. Grass is green and getting tall. Just had three inches of rain over the past 3 days. Now pretty wet. So the first mow won't be until May. Hey, thats tomorrow. A couple years ago, I was mowing in March, now this year May. The weather keeps getting goofier and goofier. Finally gonna get some seat time.

The snow is gone at least....but that plus the rain means everything is flooded. Hard to mow water.

We've cut the grass about 3 times and even had to mow the waterways on the back of the farm once with the bushhog.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
