Good find Sam. WAY better than a snapper! Those grass catchers aren't worth crap in my book. Wet grass doesn't feed well. Now a sweeper...... those work!

Sam you did real well on that machine; you ought to like it. The front bumper alone is worth its weight in gold.

Jon

There is a bagger on C-list in my area for $175.00 so that makes the tractor a $325.00 deal. Needs blades, belts and an oil change. Just got done cleaning it and mowed with it for about a 1/2 hour runs awesome.

Parts ordered and gave it a bath. This is the first 2000 series I've picked up that the power coating isn't flaking off and the seat is mint.

Looking good, Sam. I like the front bumper. Wish I could find one for Jenn's 2130.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
