I just bought a 1993 1864 with a 48" deck and 451 snow blower with 360 hours. I paid $1000. It seems to be in great condition, just picked it up last night. This is my first cub and first garden tractor. I felt like I was stealing it at that price. I live in the northwest corner of Iowa. I spent a lot of time online looking for more to compare it to for price. There is nothing available around here. Then I hear you guys buying them for under $1000, that's a crazy low price. You would never find a decent machine for that price here. I may be wrong as this is new to me, but I spent many hours looking online the past week. Definitely seems price is driven by area.

1864's are a great tractor. Just my 2 cents but I think you got a good deal. Now we are waiting for the mandatory pics.
