It doesn't really matter what color bolts on to which. I like the way the yellow ones pop on a yellow tractor IMO.

Yea, I like the yellow on yellow, and the red on red as well. I couldnt decide which tractor would get them. The 86, 1872 yellow or the 682,782 red. I went with red last night. Can always change later. ha Will try to post some pics tonight.

Got the weights painted. photo 1 (3).jpg
Then put on the 782. I've never put weights on before. I wasn't sure what you guys do to keep from scratching your rims. So I had some clear water tubing. I cut peaces about 1" long, then split in half. I put a peace between rim and weight @ 3,6,9 and 12 o'clock position.

Tried on the 682, but decided the 782 will need more.

Really happy with the way they turned out.

They look good to me on both tractors, guess you need another set now.

The weights look good, but both those tractors look really good too. Hopefully someday I can get my 782 that nice.

Why does everyone keep saying "tractors"? I only see a 782....
It looks great BTW! But was there a pic of another one? Did I miss something?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
