Yes that is correct, but those units are the later units after Sundstrand was bought out by Sauer/Danfoss. FWIW, I'm almost 100% sure you can swap the shafts if you absolutely needed to. Unless you have a unit laying around that you wanted to use, there is no need to though. The hydro units are sooooo easy to find.

Make sure you don't get one for a SGT, the output shaft is different and it won't work on your 1250.

I picked up a free john deere 318 hydro pump. So i took the front cover off with the ports and put it on a non ported cub pump i had laying around. I have not used it yet but everything went together just fine.

Yes, the pumps are the same and you can do that. Hope you just used the cover, and not the brass valve plates.... If you do that, you should keep the valve plates with the pump they came from.

It is good that you mention that in case anyone does this. The brass plates need to stay with the rotating group that they were removed from. Switching them could cause internal leaks and premature failures.
