We ahead and cleaned it up with a nylon brush and WD-40 engine degreaser. Got to use my new drain pan!

All I can say is the wrong fluid appears to have been used, and confirms my suspicion that this mower was likely stored outside.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
