I appreciate the feedback. Yeah I get the float concerns. Makes yet more choices. Going to put the float on the 3pt. Center cylinder on center lever keeping the front aux (blade angle) on the inside lever.
A couple pics because every thread should have them. Still need to dress out the handle ends. |

Excellent links, I had not resolved covers yet. Will be ordering real soon. Here is a pic of the cylinder mounted.
Don't see using a pto out back, so will add either an alternator or hyd pump in its place. |

Since there is no slotted hole in that lift arm, I would definitely recommend using the float valve for the 3pt. ![]() |

In post #10 the second pic looks like the steering column should be turned 90 degrees so that the flat is on the drive shaft side for clearance. Love the hyd cyl setup for the 3 point.

3pt is definitely getting the float.
good catch on the flat Sam, I did have to weld up that section of tube as it had a nice hole in it from PO driveshaft failure. But I did not have to remove from the mount and thought nothing of it afterwards. So I will either rotate on the mount or yank the tube and restab. Is it hard to pull the tube out? Figure that is easier that plumbing changes I may incur. Can anyone tell where the flat is clocked normally in relation to the ports? |

The flat faces opposite of the LT/RT ports. So, just to be clear, sitting in the seat, the flat is on the right, LT/RT ports on the left when installed.

Simple enough, I will check it tonight. The PO did not do maintenance/repair very well. So I could not confirm if he had repaired the steering and messed up the clocking of the flat or had bolted in wrong. Given there is a broke off bolt I suspect he just rotated to resolve that. I needed to remove that bolt anyway so time to get after it.
On another note. I moved snow today with my wide rear blade on the 782. So ready to have this setup up and running. Thanks |
