It's probably pretty fragile, from how yellow it looks. Yeah there are folks out there that fake them , then pass them off as real. Something like that would definitely have to be displayed inside. I have some IH memorabilia, a stocking hat. A funnel from our old IH dealer with their name on it a 1976 parts and tool magazine. I also have a bunch of older IH buyers guides. Also several IH operators manuals, along with all my IH toys. One place I'd like to go is in Florida, Pauqettes IH museum in Lakeland. All cool stuff, be nice to find some more of it. I know a couple ex IH mechanics that have some stuff, need to talk to them.

I think it may even approach $3k. Read the questions in the ad. The seller has already turned down an offer of $1750.

![]() Like Jon said, there are ALOT of big time IH collectors out there who'd love to have this in their collection if it's legit. Most of those said collectors have some green to play with and hundreds of restored tractors F20 up to the 5X88 series. Couple out my way, Jon Kinzebaw (think Kinze equipment) and Jerry Mez who owns Farmall Land out in Avoca, IA. I'm gonna guess in the $2500-$3000 range.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
