Glad nothing is broken. Did you find the source of the leak?

Quick question, do you have a Cat 0 3 point on this tractor? Reason I ask is that I see that Aaron has removed the 4th bolt hole from the torque arm. So if you have the factory or Bill Ruegg 3 point you'll need a spacer. Pic is the earlier design. The red 1/2 circle is where the latest arm ends.

Aaron can still make you the original design, just call him so he knows what 3 point your using. He and I have discussed this issue.

Did Aaron change the design so that it's compatible with the Xtreme hitch with the tabs?

No 3 pt on mine so far. I have thought about it though.
Yes I did find the leak before I pulled it all apart. The pressure line from the pump cracked at the pump fitting from the up + down bobbing of the trans. I already have a new one and the fittings. |

Looking forward to your report on the brace. You can still do a factory or Ruegg 3 point, all you would need to do is to put a spacer the thickness of the brace where the 4th hole used to be on the brace. I think if you use the Xtreme hitch that bolt is not used but I can't say for sure.

As usual I've been juggling projects. Plus outta town for a week. so We are back in business!
The Rat Rod Super is fixed and not leaking. I got lucky other than about 2 threads on one hole of the front mount of the trans no damage done!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything is back in place and working. The brace is installed and man is it HD. If stuff gets loose now it's time for a bigger tractor.Old Haban bracket on left. New Extreme bracket on right. Still not sure why he lopped the corner off. Doesn't make any difference on my tractor and I'd like to see that bolt surrounded not just hooked in place. But it's plenty stout. ![]() ![]() Little but dirty when I started. ![]() ![]() ![]() Little cleaner now. New bracket installed to replace old Haban bracket. I reused the old Grade 8 bolts. ![]() ![]() Trans and pump joined. ![]()

New brace in place.
![]() New high pressure line. you can see where the old one bent at pump(right side). ![]() Brace and Plow frame hooked up. Everything lined up fine. ![]() After a test run. No leaks!!! ![]() I didn't install the cab. I figured we have had a light winter as far as snow and this late in the season if it gets real bad I can always add it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
