Seriously though, there are some decent Deere's out there. I've got some Venison in the freezer to prove it!

I think you misunderstood. I did not post that video, I was just expressing my opinion of John Deere!

They are just busting you. Positive comments about a Green tractor will almost always get that kind of reaction here on OCC. Your a Newbie hang around a while and you'll see what I'm talking about. It's a Cub thing.

CubCadet129,
I didnt misunderstand.I never thought you put the video on youtube.
I was making fun of the guy in the video. He is the one that needs to see a real snow moving video. I figured you were just putting a link to a funny JD vid. I should have been more specific about who i was poking fun at.

I grew up "green" and almost went green when I purchased this house. I ended up with my manual lift 125 and have been very happy.

~~~~~~~~~~~
If somebody want to put this in as a video response, it's my 1968 Cub Cadet 125 with my QA-42 snow thrower.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfWy8jbj_GY
It's a real garden tractor doing a real job instead of the lawn mower in the silly video.
Jeff
I would post that if I had a Youtube account. I bet someone will.
I grew up green too. My dad has a couple of restored two bangers.
He is going to hate it when I put up my IH flag come spring.
Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
