Seems as if precipitation forecast in my area 30 miles west of NYC has been down graded. Originally somewhat more than 12" is now said to be 8-12" ! We'll see!
I got the generator ready and the CC125 topped off with fuel and oil... Ready when you are, Juno! Bring it on...whatever you got!

You will have to excuse me if I seem a little skeptical. I have seen and heard that the "sky is falling" way too many times. Then after the event....ya hear...."boy did we dodged the bullet"....

Being a former CT resident I find it fascinating listening to the end of the world reports. I lived in New England for 60 years. It snows in the winter. What part of that don't they understand? The best is the people that have had all year to get there snow removal equipment ready to go and now it's I need this part or that bracket, seriously? Hell I'm getting my summer stuff ready. I'm sorry if I sound cynical but come on get your act together.

I want to know who put the people at the weather channel in charge to decide to name storms?
![]() Every single time something happens, they are yelling and screaming on how bad it's going to be. Just report the weather and lose the drama. Oh, they can lose the stupid shows and put weather forecasts back on. |

I feel for you guys getting all the snow! Back in spring of 09 or 2010 in February we got 18" and it drifted like crazy! My mail box is 4ft tall and you couldn't see it. My truck is a 3/4 ton with 3" of lift, snow was drifted up to the bottom of the passenger window! My 1200 wasn't running at the time. We hired snd I ended up helping some neighbor boys shovel the drive. That took awhile! Good luck guys , be safe! Oh it drives me crazy when we get a mention of snow, people me go out shopping like it's the appocolipes! Crazy bunch of nuts!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
