And the problem would be? I'm sorry but I'm missing your point.

Thank goodness for that. I'm glad that I don't have to come up with the $$ or the space for 3-4 cubs, I can do everything I want and then some with the one I have.

Smart man!

I don't have a lot of use for a rear blade anyway, so it wouldn't be worth it for me.

Xtreme does have a "load lock" for the 3-point. I hadn't even noticed it before.

Oh, Sam you're right. This does mean I need more tractors, but I don't have the room right now and I hate having stuff sit out.

No problem. It's about 2/3 of the way down the page.

3-point load lock

Actually I notice that it won't work with a factory 3-point plate that just has the one mount hole for the top link. If you have an aftermarket with more than one hole in the top link bracket it will work.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
